Is Talento suitable for a Nigerian private school?
Yes. It was built for Nigerian SMEs that pay salaries monthly and have one or two people running the whole HR office — which is exactly how most private schools operate. Teaching and non-teaching staff sit on the same staff list with different departments and grades.
Does it calculate teachers' PAYE and pension correctly?
Yes. Payroll uses the 2026 Nigeria Tax Act progressive bands, 8% employee pension and NHF, and you can mark staff who are exempt from pension. Payslips, the payroll approval sheet and tax letters all come from the same figures.
Can it handle term-based staff and part-time teachers?
Yes. Part-time and contract staff can be kept on the staff list with their own grade and pay, included in or excluded from a payroll run, and given their own leave and appraisal records.
Does the school need internet or a server?
